Slammers 12, Rangers 2,
The Rangers were swept in a DH against the South Dayton Slammers at Bellbrook HS.
The first game was a continuation of an earlier rained out affair with the Rangers only trailing 2-1 after 4 innings. But the Slammers slugged their way to a pair of 5-run innings to win 12-2. The Rangers got the first run of the game in the bottom of the first as Nick Gilmore led off with a double and scored on Rob Pederson's RBI single. The only other tally came in the final inning when Pederson led off the 7th with a single. Gilmore ran for Pederson and stole second and scored on a hit from Jonmarc Lippincott.
The Rangers' offense couldn't do much more in the second game, mustering just 4 singles, 3 of which came in the 7th inning in a 9-1 defeat.
