Games 15, 16
Slammers 16,
Rangers 13,
game 1
The Rangers and Slammers met up at Bellbrook high school in a continuation series from an early season rainout.

The Rangers led 5-2 after 2 1/2 innings when the game started back on June 5 at MUM. Nick Gilmore's first career home run, a three-run shot, and a 2-run homer by Kody Barth accounted for the Rangers' early runs.

But the continuation swayed in the Slammers' favor, as they pummeled Rangers' pitching to the tune of 14 runs in the next two innings. The Rangers answered with RBIs from Shawn Schmitt, Jonmarc Lippincott, Ben Schubert, and Rob Armour, but still trailed 16-10 after four complete innings. Lippincott, Schubert and Schmitt added RBIs in the final two frames, but it wasn't enough as the Rangers fell 16-13 in game one.

The Slammers continued to outslug the Rangers in game two, scoring in every inning but the fifth. Meanwhile, the Rangers could only muster a pair of runs in the first and sixth innings in falling 14-4.
