The Rangers forgot to bring the bats in their DH matchup with the Xenia Scouts at AIA in Xenia. The Rangers fell 10-1 and 5-1.

In game 1, the Scouts jumped out with 8 runs in the top of the first, from which the Rangers could never recover. Markus Neff had 2 hits including a double. Jonmarc Lippincott had a double, and Cal Walters singled. Chris Ridle provided the only RBI in the game.

The Rangers had less luck in game two as they were no-hit by Steven Frank. The lone run came in the 2nd inning as Ridl's grounder was thrown away at first base, allowing Cooper Nolte to score.
