The Rangers offense and defense continue to shine as the team rolls out its franchise-record 18th straight regular season victory, blanking the Southern Ohio Stars 15-0 in 6 innings.

Joe Becker started for the Rangers and scattered 3 hits over 3 scoreless frames, striking out 3. Kenny Owens scooped in for the win tossing the final 3 innings without allowing a hit and striking out 4.

The offense went right to work in the bottom of the first inning as Eric Becker was hit by a pitch. Jesse Jones singled and Rob Pederson walked to load the bases. Cooper Nolte drew 4 straight balls to get the easy RBI and a 1-0 lead. Nick Gilmore reached on a fielder's choice to score Jones. Kyle Moyer would then reach on a dropped third strike, allowing Pederson to scamper home for a 3-0 score. Brandon Ward doubled home a pair, and Nolte would later score on a wild pitch for a 6-0 lead after one inning.

The scoring continued in the second as Nolte had an RBI single. Jaret Quinn added a 2-run single, and Ward got another RBI on a groundout. An RBI single from Nolte in the third inning coupled with a 2-run double from Moyer made it 13-0.

The run-rule was reached in the bottom of the sixth as Seebock had an RBI single and Jones' sac fly produced the game-ender.
