Game  11

The Rangers improved to 11-0 with a 15-3 run-rule of the Springfield Angels on Sunday at Howell Field. Kenny Owens started and struck out 4 over 4 innings, but pitch count kept him out of the Win column. Michael Lane Seebock swooped in for the Win tossing 2 scoreless innings of relief, before Jesse Jones finished up with 2 scoreless frames of his own. 


The team trailed 3-2 until the floodgates opened up in the 5th as the team piled on 21 hits on the afternoon.

The Rangers jumped out in front in the bottom of the first as Jesse Jones tripled home Eric Becker. Rob Pederson followed with a sac fly to make it 2-0. The Angels answered with a 3-spot in the third.

​

In the bottom of the fifth, the Rangers put the game out of reach. Eric Becker plated 2 with a single. Jones had an RBI single. Pederson scored one with a groundout.  Kyle Moyer and Brandon Ward had run-scoring singles. And a double-steal added another to bring the score to 10-3.

​

Markus Neff smacked an RBI single and Liam Musgrove scored on a wild pitch to make it 12-3. The run-rule came to fruition in the bottom of the 8th. Jones doubled and later scored on a passed ball. Kyle Moyer added an RBI double, and Neff who reach on an error, walked it off by scoring on a wild pitch.
